I wanted to give you the world's largest diamond

but all I could find was the biggest bow.

I wanted to give you the world smallest rose

but all I could find was the smallest dog.

Some days, you can't get anything right.

NO WORDS

Words cannot express how

I feel about you in my heart,

Or how deeply I care about you.

When I go about my day,

My thoughts don't know what to say.

I remember how you smile with your eyes

And the way you sound when you laugh.

You play like a kid and have fun, real fun.

I think of how you hold me, and I have

"Warm fuzzies" from my tippy-toes

to the split ends of my hair.

I yearn to be spoiled some more

the way you do when you are here.

But I cannot say what I feel

Because the screen goes blank

And the room gets dark.

It spins inside a whirlwind of

Pleasure and happiness.

I Will

At the altar, we said
We would love, we would cherish.

But now we merely tolerate each other.

How can we renew our love?

Today I prayed, and saw

That I needed to change—first.

So, from this day forward,

I will think of you, pray for you,

And talk to you in love.

When your words aggravate me

I will think before I speak.

At the end of the day,

I will show concern for your welfare

Before I pounce on you with my crisis.

I will try harder to treat you special

So you will always know

That more than anyone in this world

I cherish you, my partner in life.

All Wrapped Up!

Last night I slept with your cheek next to mine,

And I felt your arms around me keeping me warm.

Our legs were tangled in the blankets tossed around the bed,

And we snuggled and slept together all night long.

Then I woke up with your blanket surrounding me

But my legs were tangled alone.

Your face was far away and I couldn't feel your arms anymore.

No matter how much I tried to sleep, I couldn't

Because the day had come

And the sun was yelling from behind the clouds,

"Get up now!"

Alas-- I am by myself again.

A young lad of honor, noble and strong

Did find him a maiden, lovely and fair.

Their love grew so sweet that it was a song,

And they did sing merrily,

And those with them there:

A day to be wed, a revel and dance

To celebrate all that love has enhanced;

A time to be merry, come along

And feast with us, dance;

Our joy we must share.

A cry in the night, a call to arms;

Prepare to wage war, we defend our land.

Be noble and brave; protect us from harm;

Pray that ye save us from enemy's hand.

Oh maiden, he's gone, you worry your head.

Await his return and you shall be wed.

Oh come back my love, I open my arms

But loyal and true, he followed command.

The sounds of the battle drift far and wide

And victory awaited the Masters of War.

The clans did unite; they fought side by side,

The victors to reap the fruit of their chore.

Oh maiden see your true love is gone.

the enemy smote him, though he strove on.

Oh maiden flee, and in your soul hide,

I mourn till my true love I join evermore.

A young maiden spirit roams all the while

Till she find her true love on she goes.

She sees not her death but with a sweet smile.

Seeking her true love, hope always flows;

And until that day she watches and flies

To warn another maiden when her love dies.

Never to weep she roams all the while--

When she will find him, Love only knows.
